Council of East and Central Africa Football Association (Cecafa) have changed kick-off date for the Senior Challenge Cup.

The games, to be hosted in Kenya, were initially scheduled to kick-off on November 17-30th, but will now move to the final week of November.

The new kick-off date is pegged on November 25 with the regional games running until December 9. It is not yet clear why the new changes were arrived at though it is suspected that high political tension in the country could have played a major role.

Besides the political temperature, Kenyan Premier League season, that is yet to wind up could have also contributed to the new change of dates.

Cecafa is set to be staged in Nakuru, Kisumu and Bungoma Counties according to Football Kenya Federation.
