Sofapaka have completed a double deal for Wazito FC striker Pistone Mutamba and goalkeeper Wycliffe Kasaya.
Batoto Ba Mungu have lured Mutamba from the newly promoted side Wazito with a two-year deal while Kasaya signed a one year contract from Mathare United.
Sofapaka, who had set their eyes on winning their first KPL title since 2009, are still in the market for two more players.
“Kasaya will act as a cover for Mathias Kigonya but we are still looking for a defender and a midfielder,” coach John Baraza told Goal.
Sofapaka are currently joint second on the log with 28 points, same as Ulinzi Stars, who enjoy a superior goal difference.
