Harambee Stars striker Allan Wanga is confident that Kenya has what it takes to down the Walya Antelopes of Ethiopia on Wednesday.
The national team is aiming at getting maximum points from the trip to the neighboring country, that will enable them move top of Group F with six points. The Kakamega Homeboyz striker believes it is a mission possible for Kenya as they target an Afcon return for the first time since 2004.
“This is a chance for us to get back to the finals and we want to take it. We are focused on Wednesdays game against Ethiopia, yes they are playing at home and everything will be in their favor but that will not affect our determination to get maximum points from them.
“Well, as players we know we have a responsibility to deliver for the entire nation, and that is what we are going for,” Wanga told Goal in an interview.
Ghana, Ethiopia and Kenya makes Group F following Sierra Leone's suspension by Fifa citing government interference.
