Alex Iwobi urges Arsenal to 'go again' after Chelsea loss

The Nigeria international almost snatched a share of the spoils for the Gunners but for a late Alonso strike

Following Arsenal's 3-2 loss to Chelsea in Saturday's English Premier League encounter, Alex Iwobi has urged his teammates to have a 'go again'.

The Gunners started their season in an underwhelming manner after a lacklustre perfomance against reigning champions Manchester City saw them lose 2-0 at the Emirates.

Following up with another defeat at Stamford Bridge after a late Marcus Alonso strike, Iwobi - whose sublime equaliser before half-time look to have handed a positive Unai Emery his first point at the helm of the North London side - voiced his disappointment at the result, but encouraged his teammates to continue on the promises showed against the Blues.

"Thought we deserved more from today," Iwobi tweeted.

"Got to keep our heads up, stick together & go again."

Next Saturday, Arsenal play their next Premier League encounter against West Ham United, and Iwobi - and his teammates - will hope to get third time lucky.
