Last week AFC Leopards announced the arrival of midfielder Edward Seda from Mathare United on a three-year contract.

The midfielder has been doing well for the ‘slum boys’ and Ingwe decided to resign him. However, two weeks later the player has not joined AFC Leopards and Oscar Igaida has explained to Goal why.

“Seda has a contract with Mathare, it will expire on Friday and that is when he will receive his release letter. We are expecting him in training as from Monday next week. We went for him because he is a technical player who can help us realize our objectives. We believe in him and the qualities he possesses.”

Seda signed a three-year contract with the twelve times league champions and was missing in action as they battled to a barren draw with Zoo Kericho on Wednesday.
