The Dormaa-based club thumped regional rivals Bechem United 3-0 in the Brong Ahafo derby during the weekend while former leaders Wafa lost to Inter Allies in Accra.
Aduana have now opened a two-point gap at the top of the table with fourteen matches remaining.
“A lot of teams are in the title race but we are ready for any team. To be the best we have to beat the best around us,” Abubakar told Sports Crusader
“We know we are not champions yet and for us to stay at our current position, we have to work harder.
“I am not ruling out any club from winning the title yet. The likes of Wafa, Hearts of Oak and Kotoko cannot be ruled out just like that because they seriously pose threat but hopefully, we stay here for the rest of the season,” he added.
Aduana will make a short trip next weekend to play Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park in matchday 17, while Wafa welcome Hearts in the top of the table clash.
