Delhi United came back from a 3-1 deficit to hold FC Pune City reserves to an exciting 3-3 draw....

FC Pune City reserves and Delhi United FC played out an exciting 3-3 draw in a second division I-League Group A encounter on Wednesday at the Pirangute Football Ground, Pune.

Gani Ahmed Nigam (11’), Chesterpaul Lyngdoh (45+4’) and Omkar (58’) scored for FC Pune City while Rungsing Muinao (45+1’), Konan Zacharie (64’) and Arkwis Wanniang (88’) netted for Delhi United.

It was the home side who took the lead via Gani Ahmed’s goal in the 11th minute. But it was cancelled out by Rungsing Muinao’s strike during the injury time of first half. Former Mohun Bagan winger Chesterpaul Lyngdoh then scored in the dying minutes of the first half to restore Pune’s lead.

Omkar More added to Pune City’s lead in the 58th minute with a third goal. For Delhi, Ivory Coast striker Konan Zacharie scored the second goal and the late equaliser was netted in by Arkwis Wanniang.

FC Pune City reserves remain at the third position in the group with 10 points from eight matches while Delhi United are placed at the fourth position with eight points from as many games.

Pune next meet Lonestar Kashmir on May 8 at home and Delhi United take on local rivals Delhi Dynamos reserves side on May 10th.
