Bikramjit Singh (6') early goal was cancelled out by Edu Bedia's strike in the 54th minute. Lallianzuala Chhangte brought Delhi back into the game in the 70th minute but Brandon Fernandes equalised once again (82'). Bedia sealed the fate of the match in Goa's favour by scoring in the 89th minute.
FC Goa was boosted by the return of Ferran Corominas who replaced Miguel Palanca in the lineup. Head coach Sergio Lobera chose to go with Mohammed Ali in place of Chinglensana Singh at the back.
Josep Gombau dropped Rene Mihelic to the bench as Adria Carmona started in his place. The other changes saw Pritam Kotal and Nandhakumar Sekar replace Mohammad Sajid Dhot and Shubham Sarangi.
The visitors took the lead in the sixth minute. Former Goa midfielder Bikramjit ghosted towards the edge of the box and found the top left corner of the net with a stunning strike from distance.
Delhi created chances but failed to double their lead. The Goan defence looked shaky and was relieved when Marcos Tebar failed to nod in a Carmona free-kick from close-range at the half-hour mark.
The Gaurs equalised less than ten minutes into the second half. Boumous released Mandar Rao Dessai on the left and the FC Goa skipper's low cross into the box was slotted home by Bedia.
Delhi missed a golden opportunity to regain their lead when Nandhakumar released Daniel Lalhlimpuia into the box. The latter somehow managed to miss the mark in the 67th minute with just Mohammad Nawaz to beat.
The visitors regained their lead in the 70th minute. Substitute Rene Mihelic's cross was backheeled into the path of Chhangte by Nandhakumar and the Indian international guided the ball into the net.
Goa put up a late fight and scored two goals in the last ten minutes to clinch all three points. Substitute Brandon Fernandes beat Dorronsoro at his near post from outside the box in the 82nd minute.
A Hugo Boumous free-kick into the centre of the box was guided into the net with a glancing header by Edu Bedia to send the Gaurs supporters into delirium.
