Championship Round
Relegation Round

Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
Celtic maintain their unbeaten run over Rangers since the arrival of Brendan Rodgers as Olivier Ntcham's strike guides them to the three points this afternoon. It was not a complete performance from the Bhoys, but good enough to deliver the victory that their fans will treasure over their local rivals. They were by far the better side throughout the contest and came close twice hitting the bar before Ntcham scored. Rangers can have few complaints. Steven Gerrard's side were compact, but lacked a threat in the final third. The pressure eventually told to see the Gers succumb to their first defeat under their new manager.
90' + 4' Celtic are winding down the clock. There are almost there.
90' + 3' Rangers have lacked the quality in the final third to threaten Celtic. Barisic wastes an opening down the left, hitting his cross out for a goal-kick.
S. Sinclair
J. Forrest

86' WHAT A SAVE! Griffiths lines up the effort on the edge of the box and he hammers it towards goal on his left foot. Allan McGregor throws himself in the way of the ball and is able to make the reaction stop. The rebound could fall anywhere, but the Gers are able to scramble it clear.
C. Goldson
Yellow Card
85' Goldson goes into the book for his challenge, although the replays show that it was harsh.
85' Christie goes down on the edge of the box under Goldson's challenge. The referee points for a free-kick rather than a penalty that the home fans want. Replays show that the Bhoys are lucky to even get that as there was little contact.
84' Morelos goes on a driving run on the edge of the box, but Brown stops his progress before he can threaten the Celtic goal.
82' OFF THE POST! Forrest tees up Griffiths for a strike on the edge of the box. The striker gets the power on his strike, but not quite the accuracy needed to beat Allan McGregor. His effort clips the outside of the post and goes wide.
G. Middleton
R. Jack
81' Middleton makes his way on to the pitch to replace Jack.
81' It's a poor effort from the Rangers skipper as Boyata heads clear with ease on the penalty spot. There's still hope for Rangers as the difference remains only one goal.
80' Rangers win a free-kick on the left flank. Tavernier will swing the delivery into the box. The visitors need quality from their captain.
79' Tavenier sends a corner into the box from the right, but the Bhoys are solid at the back to prevent Morelos latching on to the delivery.
R. Christie
T. Rogić

A. Morelos
Yellow Card
70' Morelos goes into the book for the visitors. It had been coming since the opening whistle.
68' SAVE! Morelos bundles his way past Boyata on the left flank and he raids into the inside channel before hammering an effort at goal on his right foot. Gordon makes himself big and makes a solid stop at his near post.
67' WIDE! Griffiths almost makes an immediate impact from the bench. He curls a delivery towards the near post for Lustig's run, but the Swede guides his header inches past the post, with the ball always drifting away from the net.

The midfielder surged forward and struck low effort towards the bottom corner. McGregor down low to his right to get a hand to palm the ball upwards off the bar, while he was able to gather the rebound under pressure.
48' Lafferty makes a run behind the Celtic backline, but he's caught offside as he latches on to the ball over the top.
46' We're back underway at Celtic Park.
Steven Gerrard will be pleased with the resilience of his team, although they've barely been out of their own half in the contest. Rangers have to find a way out in the second period to ease the pressure on their backline.
It's goalless at the break between Celtic and Rangers at Celtic Park. The home side have dominated the contest, hitting the bar twice, while Allan McGregor has made a couple of sharp saves to keep the scores level. James Forrest hit a rasping effort from distance that took a deflection before rattling the bar, while from the resulting corner Mikael Lustig's header looped off the woodwork. It has not been the Bhoys' day in front of goal thus far.
45' + 1' OVER! Tierney tees up Brown to go for goal from distance, but he drives his effort over the bar from 25 yards.

25' SAVE! Callum McGregor bends his free-kick towards goal into a crowd of players in the six-yard box. 3' Tierney releases McGregor down the left and he goes for the cross into the box, only to overhit the delivery out for a goal-kick.
2' Forrest makes a surge into the box and offloads to Edouard on the edge. He tries to carve out space for a strike, but Arfield is there with the recovery to prevent the shot at goal.
1' We're underway at Celtic Park.
Celtic have lost three of their last eight league games, having only lost two of their previous 72 top-flight matches.
Rangers have won just one of their last 11 league trips to Celtic Park (drawn four, lost six), a 3-1 victory in October 2010.
Rangers have made two changes to their side from their draw against Ufa during the week. Lafferty and Barisic are given the nod to start the derby, with Flanagan and Candeias dropping to the bench.
Celtic have made three changes from their win over Suduva in the Europa League during the week. Edouard, Rogic and Forrest come into the team in a straight swap with Sinclair, Griffiths and Michael Johnston.
Rangers subs: Joe Worrall, Wes Foderingham, Jon Flanagan, Andrew Halliday, Ross McCrorie, Candeias, Glenn Middleton.
RANGERS (4-3-1-2): Allan McGregor; James Tavernier, Nikola Katic, Connor Goldson, Borna Barisic; Ovie Ejaria, Ryan Jack, Ryan Kent; Scott Arfield; Kyle Lafferty, Alfredo Morelos.
Celtic subs: Leigh Griffiths, Scott Sinclair, Cristin Gamboa, Ryan Christie, Scott Bain, Filip Benkovic, Kouassi Eboue.
CELTIC (4-2-3-1): Craig Gordon; Mikael Lustig, Dedryck Boyata, Kristoffer Ajer, Kieran Tierney; Olivier Ntcham, Scott Brown; James Forrest, Tomas Rogic, Callum McGregor; Odsonne Edouard.
Let's take a look at the two teams this afternoon.
Rangers drew during the week in their Europa League qualifying clash against Ufa, despite the dismissals of Alfredo Morelos and Jon Flanagan. Their league form has been solid, although they conceded a late goal against Motherwell last time out to lose out the victory on the road.
Gerrard has made an immediate impact at Rangers, remaining unbeaten in his 12 games in charge in all competitions. Performances have not been pretty, especially the disciplinary record. However, he has brought a resilience to the club that was lacking in previous seasons.
Celtic will have to move on this season without the services of Moussa Dembele. The striker was outstanding in his two seasons at the club, but he felt that he achieved all he could at Celtic Park, clinching a move to Lyon earlier in the week. Leigh Griffiths, Odsonne Edouard and Scott Sinclair will have to fill the void of the Frenchman's departure.
The Bhoys for once have not made a dominant start to the season, losing their second game of the campaing 1-0 to Hearts on the road. They're mid-table six points off the pace of Hearts and will now want to fall further behind. A Dedryck Boyata strike handed the Hoops a victory over Hamilton last time out, but they will have to be flawless this afternoon.
Celtic have dominated the contest in recent years, boasting a nine-game unbeaten record over their rivals. Brendan Rodgers has been imperious since taking the reins at Celtic in the fixture, he will be desperate to maintain his unbeaten record over the Gers.
Steven Gerrard experiences the Old Firm for the first time, taking his side to Celtic Park for the 414th contest between the bitter rivals.
Good morning and welcome to the live commentary of the Scottish Premier League clash between Celtic and Rangers at Celtic Park.
