The Porcupine Warriors former boss is optimistic they can eliminate the Congolese side despite having a slim advantage from the first leg

Former Asante Kotoko coach Zdravko Logarusic believes the club has the capabilities to eliminate CARA Brazzaville in the Caf Confederation Cup preliminary round when they meet on Wednesday.

Kotoko won the first leg by a 1-0 scoreline after missing four penalties at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

"I hope and believe Kotoko will produce good results in Brazzaville because they have to represent Ghana football properly to show Ghana league is better than Congo’s league," Logarusic told Oyerepa FM.

"I will be surprised if Kotoko fail to qualify on Wednesday against CARA Brazzaville because they have everything at their disposal and even the 1-0 win in the first leg isn't a bad result because CARA will have to score twice and make sure they don't concede," he added.

Logarusic, who currently coaches Sudan national team, took charge of the Kumasi giants for only three months and left in April last year after a section of the supporters revolted against his 3-5-2 formation despite the club sitting second on the log.
