Watford have confirmed the departure of Brice Dja Djedje to French second-tier outfit, Lens on loan till the end of the season.

The Cote d'Ivoire international endured a torrid time at the Vicarage Road as he found first-team action difficult to come by.

The defender last featured for the Hertfordshire outfit in their FA Cup fourth-round exit against Millwall.

Djedje joined Watford from Olympique Marseille in the summer of 2016 and made just two appearances for the club.
