The Northern Blues midfielder believes he has the qualities to win more prestigious awards following his FA Cup recognition on Thursday

Wa All Stars midfielder David Abagna has admitted his happiness following his exploit at the 2017 Ghana FA Cup awards held at the M Plaza Hotel in Accra on Thursday.

The 19-year-old was adjudged as the most promising player for the crucial role he played as his side reached the semi-finals before losing to Hearts of Oak.

“I'm very excited to win this award and it is because of the opponents I came up with," Abagna said.

"It also motivates me that, anytime I work hard on the pitch and I work harder as a player, it will be recognised. It’s really a great source of motivation for me to continue since I can win bigger awards in the future,” he added.
