Ulinzi Stars have signed three more players ahead the 2018/19 Kenyan Premier League season.

The Soldiers will kick off the new campaign away at the Mumias Complex when they take on Vihiga United in the league opener.

Ulinzi Stars signed winger Sande Mwahila from SS Assad and 18-year old John Njuguna, who joined the military side from Muhoroni Youth as well as Paul Muchika, who has completed his military training.

“I have seen something extra from these players and I believe we will be a better team with them in. We are trying to look at the current state of the team as well as the future so we have to go for such youthful players,” Dunstan Nyaudo told Ulinzistar.com.

The trio takes to five the number of new signing by Nyaudo. Others are Clinton Omondi, who arrived from Sony Sugar and Ezekiel Okare from Sofapaka. Omondi will, however, head straight to military training and will not be part of the team for the season.

Ulinzi also recruited defender Edmond Kwanya from Sofapaka, midfielder Hans Omondi from Timsales FC and defender Quintine Indeche, though the trio will be heading straight for the mandatory military training and will not be in Nyaudo’s plan for the forthcoming season.
