Tusker’s opponents Silver Strikers have landed in Nairobi ahead of their friendly match.

Tusker will host the Malawian Premier Division side on Friday at the Ruaraka Grounds in the pre-season friendly as they prepare for the new season.

Tusker head coach Robert Matano will use the match as a test for his new going into next season, which is two weeks away and also to keep the players’ competitiveness in check.

Silver Strikers FC have won eight Malawian Premier League honours, two Malawi FAM Cup, one BP Top 8. Silver Strikers FC will use the friendly on their way to Gabon where they are set to play Cercle Mbéri Sportif in the Caf Confederation Cup.
