Former APR goalkeeper Emery Mvuyekure is among the three players, who could join Tusker in the next few days.

The Brewers are currently in the market for a goalkeeper to replace Patrick Matasi, who left for St. Georges of Ethiopia.

According to sources in Rwanda, Mvuyekure is on the process of completing a move to the former Kenya Premier League side, where he is set to pen a two-year deal.

Tusker's Communication Officer Diana Yonah confirmed to Goal that they are still active in the market for three more talents. But sources within the team have hinted   that the 24-year-old Mvuyekure, is set to sign with the Robert Matano led side following a week-long trials.

“We have signed a Rwandan player and that will be communicated later in the day. We are looking for two more players, Yonah told Goal .

Before joining APR, Mvuyekure played for AS Kigali for four years and was part of the team that won the 2013 Peace Cup.

Mvuyekure, who played in the Rwandan U-20 national team, is set to become the fourth Rwandan to join a KPL side in the last two weeks and second to be signed by Tusker after Amini Muzerwa, who also inked a two-year contract.

Former AS Kigali skipper Soter Kayumba joined Sofapaka while former Rayon Sports defender Gabriel Mugabo moved to KCB FC.
