Chelsea & Roma to battle for Schmeichel

Chelsea and Roma could battle it out to sign Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, reports Sky Sports News.

Schmeichel has established himself as one of the best keepers in the Premier League and is an option for both Chelsea and Roma if they lose their current No.1s.

Thibaut Courtois’s long-term future at Chelsea is uncertain, while Roma’s Alisson has been linked with a summer transfer, including a move to Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal complete Sokratis deal

Arsenal have completed the signing of Borussia Dortmund and Greece centre-back Sokratis Papastathopoulos.

The Gunners have announced that he has signed a "long-term" deal with the club and becomes Unai Emery's third signing since replacing Arsene Wenger at the Emirates Stadium.

Milan complete Reina move

AC Milan have signed veteran Spain goalkeeper Pepe Reina on a free transfer after his deal with Napoli expired.

He has signed a two-year deal that will expire in 2020, while Croatia international Ivan Strinic has also arrived at San Siro, having penned a deal that runs until 2021 after his deal with Sampdoria ran out.]

Manchester United are stepping up their chase of Norwegian teenager Erling Braut Haaland, reports ESPN FC.

The 17-year-old striker has already become a member of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first team at Molde, where he scored four goals against Brann on Sunday.

Barcelona are looking at the possible signing of Chelsea star N'Golo Kante, Don Balon reports.

Buffon to finalise PSG move

Gianluigi Buffon is expected to complete his move to Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer within the next week, according to L'Equipe.

The 40-year-old has left Juventus at the end of his contract and the goalkeeper is due to sign a two-year deal with PSG.

His arrival at the Parc des Princes is likely to see PSG offload either Alphonse Areola or Kevin Trapp during the summer transfer window.

Ajax want Daley Blind back

Ajax want to sign Daley Blind back from Manchester United,  De Telegraaf  claims.

The midfielder rose through the Amsterdam side's youth system before joining the Premier League club four years ago, but played just seven games in the top flight last term.

After signing Dusan Tadic from Southampton, the Eredivisie giants hope to bring another star back to Dutch football.

Salah signs new long-term Liverpool contract

Mohamed Salah has signed a new long term contract at Liverpool, which will keep him at Anfield until 2023.

The Egyptian star has been rewarded for his incredible debut season on Merseyside with an improved five-year deal.

Crucially, given widespread reports of interest from Real Madrid, Salah’s new deal contains no release clause, with the 26-year-old and his representatives happy to commit their future to the club.

New Bayern Munich head coach Niko Kovac is excited to work with star striker Robert Lewandowski and hopes he stays with the Bundesliga giants.

The 29-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena after his agent said in May that the Poland international "needs a change".

Manchester United and Chelsea have emerged as possible destinations, while Real Madrid were initially reported to be interested.

Swansea flop Sanches could stay at Bayern

Bayern Munich head coach Niko Kovac has suggested that Renato Sanches will stay at the club, despite a torrid time on loan at Swansea City.

Sanches spent the 2017-18 season in the Premier League but saw his stay with the Swans disrupted by injury and a lack of form.

However, Kovac, who has been unveiled as the club's new boss following the departure of interim Jupp Heynckes, believes that Sanches has the tools to be a success in the Bundesliga.

Rabiot in talks with big European clubs

Paris Saint-Germain's Adrien Rabiot is being dangled in front of Manchester City, Man Utd, Juventus and Barcelona, according to French outlet Paris United .

The report claims the player's mother, who is also his agent, has offered her son's services to some of Europe's elite as the midfielder is unsure of his future at Parc des Prince.

It is said that Rabiot will do his best to win over Thomas Tuchel in pre-season, but feels that the German boss intends to play Marco Verratti and Julian Draxler in his preferred area of the pitch.

West Ham make £27m Plea bid

West Ham have made a £27 million ($36m) bid for Nice's Alassane Plea, Sky Sports reports.

The 25-year-old forward has also caught the eye of Newcastle, Fulham and Tottenham, having netted 20 goals last season. 

Southampton beat West Ham to Marlon

Southampton have won the race to sign Barcelona's Marlon, according to the Mirror.

The Saints have agreed a £10 million ($13m) fee for the defender, who made just two appearances for the Spanish side last season, beating out interest from West Ham for the 22-year-old. 

Golovin to follow Sarri to Chelsea

Russia midfielder Aleksandr Golovin will follow Maurizio Sarri to Chelsea, The Sun claims.

With Sarri set to take over as Blues boss this week, he will begin to push through his own transfer plans, and the midfielder is at the top of his list. 

It will cost Chelsea £27 million ($37m) to sign the 22-year-old from CSKA Moscow.

The 24-year-old is most likely to join FCD on a loan deal that would leave Dallas with the option to buy. 

Juventus in sensational Ronaldo swoop

Cristiano Ronaldo could be Juventus bound this summer, according to reports from Tuttosport .

The Real Madrid ace has reportedly rejected the opportunity to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu, where he has snubbed a deal worth €31.5m (£27.9m/$36.9m).

Both Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United have been linked with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

Lazio demand too much for Milinkovic-Savic

Juventus have rejected a counter-offer from Lazio in their pursuit of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Tuttosport claims.

The Rome-based side reportedly asked for Rodrigo Bentancur as part of a part-exchange deal in which they also demanded €100 million (£89m/$117m).

Despite the rejection, it is said that talks between the clubs are amicable and hopes are high that a deal can eventually be struck.
