The Super Eagles midfielder says they are not nervous about facing Stuart Baxter's men in Saturday's Afcon qualifier clash in Uyo

Ogenyi Onazi claims that the Nigeria senior national team are not under pressure ahead their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa.

The Trabzonspor midfielder who is expected to lead the team against Bafana Bafana is looking forward to the encounter and has revealed that his teammates are capable of the task.

"We know the capability of our team. The young players have done very well with their various clubs,” Onazi told media.

“They are eager to play for the country. It is going to give the coach a very difficult time to select the best because everyone is giving their very best in the team.

"We tried to make know there is no new or old player and make them feel at home and understand that the country is first.''

"They need to give our 110% no matter where they come from or the league they playing,'' he continued.

''We are one big family and we must all fight together to help the country win. There is nothing like pressure. This is football, we are under no pressure.

''What has happened in the past has happened. But this is a new era and this is another opportunity for us to show that what happened in the past was a mistake.

"We are not going to boast that we are going to win by any margin but it is all about the work we have done and executing the instructions of the coaches."
