Sony Sugar drops five players ahead of the season kick off

Kenyan Premier League side Sony Sugar has dropped five players ahead of the new season set to kick off on December 8.

Joseph Omweri has been shown the door alongside Bernard Omondi, Robert Ouma, Salim Sowedi and Fredrick Ochieng.

On the other hand, defender Kevin Oluoch has retired after about three decades in active football. Reports have it that the club is considering handing him a technical role.

The team, led by coach Patrick Odhiambo, has so far brought in two quality players in Tom Adwar who was playing for Nakumatt last season, and Robert Achema who was dumped by Tusker FC.
