Sofapaka held visiting Ugandan champions KCCA to a scoreless draw in a friendly staged at Narok Stadium on Friday.
The draw means that Sofapaka is the only Kenyan team to have denied the Ugandan champions a chance to score a goal in four of their pre-season matches staged in the country.
The Ugandan giants lost 4-2 to Kenyan champions Gor Mahia before forcing a slim 1-0 win overTusker at Ruraka last Monday. KCCA later lost 2-1 to AFC Leopards on Wednesday at Machakos Stadium.
But Sam Simbwa did not give his compatriots any chance of shaking the back of the net in an entertaining 0-0 draw staged away from the busy capital in Narok County.
The game saw both sides create several clear-cut chances, though both goalkeepers stood tall with pinpoint saves.
Brain Umony missed the first chance of the match from close range with only the keeper to beat before Allan Okello directed his shot from a resultant rebound wide off the mark.
Ugandan import, Umaru Kasumba came close to opening the scores for the host in the 30th minute, but he was denied by Jamil Maliyamungu.
Okello had rattled Sofapaka goal with a bullet of a shot that hit the inside of the crossbar back into play as the two sides battle out for the opening goal.
KCCA used the Kenyan tour to prepare for the Caf Champions League where they are set to play CNaPS Sports of Madagascar in the preliminary round.
Sofapaka will begin their Kenyan Premier League campaign on February 4 against Bandari at the same venue.
