Having featured for the first time ever for his new club Selangor on Wednesday, Indonesia international Ilham Udin Armaiyn now look forward to playing for his country against World Cup debutantes Iceland.

The match ended in a 1-0 win to Selangor, with the only goal coming from a penalty kick that was put away by Amri Yahyah. The penalty was awarded by the referee for a handball that came off Ilham's effort.

On Thursday Ilham and Evan return to Indonesia, as they have been called up by the Garudas head coach Luis Milla for their friendly match against Iceland in Jakarta this Sunday.

Speaking to the press after the Wednesday friendly, the attacker said that he needs more time to adapt to his new club.

"I hope the match just now will lead to more positive results in the future. There were mistakes in the match, but I'm new here.

And on the question of the coming international friendly, the 2017 Liga 1 winner said he is eager for a chance to play against the Icelanders.

"We all know that Iceland have qualified for the World Cup, I hope I can do my best against them," remarked the 21-year old.
