The highly-rated tactician and Pirates head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic have been lauded for revolutionizing the Soweto giants during the recent 2017/18 Premier Soccer League (PSL) season.
PSL sides SuperSport United and City are the two clubs keen to appoint Mokwena as their new head coach as Goal recently reported.
However, Polokwane communications manager Vusi Mtimane has since stated that they are not looking appoint a new coach as they still have Bernard Molekwa.
“We have a head coach and I don’t know where those reports about Rulani are coming from‚” Mtimane told TimesLive.
Rise and Shine endured a disappointing season which saw them finish 12th in the league.
“As the club we take those reports as fake news because we’ve never parted with our head coach Molekwa," he added.
SuperSport are currently looking for a head coach having parted ways with Eric Tinkler last March.
When confonted by the publication, Mokwena distanced himself from the reports.
“In life sometimes there are things that we want. I also want to drive the Lamborghini and sometimes these are things we can’t get," Mokwena responded.
“Well‚ like I just said‚ when I used to go shopping with my mother, I used to say ‘I want that and I want that’ but my mother would slap my hand and say ‘that’s not for you’," Mokwena added.
“So, there are certain things in life that we want but sometimes the Almighty directs us and says ‘it’s not the time’," he explained.
“It’s not for me to answer that question‚ but what I can tell you is that there are things that people want that they can’t get," he concluded.
