Polokwane City put not for sale tag on Ramagalela as Orlando Pirates sniff around

Rise and Shine have relied on the 28-year-old for goals this season and they are unwilling to lose their star striker

Polokwane City head coach Bernard Molekwa has made it clear that Rodney Ramagalela is not for sale.

The Ramagalela is enjoying football this season having netted eight goals in 14 PSL appearances.

As a result, the former Mamelodi Sundowns striker is the current league top goalscorer.

According to the latest reports, Orlando Pirates are amongst the PSL clubs which are monitoring the forward's progress at Rise and Shine.

Bucs might try to tempt Ramagalela to come help solve their scoring problems with the next Transfer Window set to open in January.

When speaking to Daily Sun, Molekwa stated that the club will not listen to offers for the hard-running striker.

“Ramagalela is very important in our team and I can promise that he will still be with us for the rest of the season,” said Molekwa.

“He has a contract with the team and is happy here. We know he has been doing well and when a player is doing well some teams become interested in them," he added.

"But Ramagalela is a City player and he is staying – no matter what," he concluded.
