K’Ogalo convinced Mieno, 27 to pen a long term three-year deal

Humphrey Mieno has signed a three-year deal with Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia.

Gor Mahia snatched Mieno from the hands of rivals AFC Leopards, barely three days after he was released by Tusker FC. K’Ogalo convinced Mieno, 27 to ink a long term three-year deal though Goal understands that the player wanted to sign for two years.

Gor Mahia move is expected to further stretch the already bad relationship between the two Kenyan football giants.

The two clubs have developed a frosty relationship in the ongoing transfer window after Gor Mahia expressed interest in signing AFC Leopards defender Dennis Sikhayi.

In response, AFC Leopards placed a Sh10million price tag on their assets while at the same time, warning the player that the club will not sell him to Gor Mahia.
