Chidebere Ajoku scored his fourth of the season and the only goal of the match in Sagamu, handing the Ikon Allah boys their first away win in six years.
“We had to change the tactics we used against Katsina United," Bala told Goal.
“We watched three of their clips and discovered that their game is very fast.
“We had to work seriously on our attacking midfielders. We had to play with more of our defensive midfielders than the attacking one. We had to also work on our finishes.
“Unlike how we were wasteful against Katsina United, we had some attempts on goal and we were able to convert one of them and overall we executed our match plan successfully.
“The goalkeeper really did not do much, because we were able to cut them down from the midfield and we had to force them to change their pattern.
“They gave us the room to play and that’s how we ensure the game stay till the end of the 90 minutes.”
