Mohamed Elneny is looking forward to an 'exciting' 2018-19 Premier League season with Arsenal.
The 25-year-old missed the remaining part of last season with the Gunners owing to a hamstring injury suffered in April against West Ham United.
However, he recovered early enough to participate in Egypt’s disappointing World Cup campaign where they were failed to get past the group stage.
And ahead of his return to the Emirate Stadium, the former Basel man has taken to the social media to express his optimism for the upcoming campaign, especially under new manager Unai Emery following the departure of Arsene Wenger last term.
“Getting ready for an exciting season,” Elneny tweeted.
The midfielder who has an extended break after participating in the global football showpiece in Russia could miss Arsenal’s first pre-season game against Boreham Wood on July 14.
