Mathare United ready for Thika United clash

Mathare United have expressed their confidence in playing against Thika United in the 2017 Kenyan Premier League’s opening match set for Sunday at Thika Sub-county Stadium.

The Slum Boys will host the Brookeside sponsored side in the day’s early kick-off match and captain George Owino is upbeat that his side will win the battle.

“I think the delay of the league’s kickoff has really worked to our advantage because we have too many faces in the team and they needed time to gel. We have performed very well in the friendly matches and we are looking to continue with the same tomorrow.
