Fulham eager for Sessegnon contract talks in wake of Tottenham interest


Fulham are eager to lock up Ryan Sessegnon as the club prepares for contract talks, according to the Daily Express.

Tottenham remain interested in the English winger, who helped lead the club to promotion last season.

Sessegnon has started two of Fulham's first four Premier League matches but, despite being a late contender for a World Cup spot, has yet to earn a senior call-up at the international level. 

Negredo linked with UAE side Al-Nasr


Besiktas striker Alvaro Negredo has been linked with a move to UAE side Al-Nasr. according to AS.

The former Tottenham forward is set to double his wages with the move after previously being linked with a return to La Liga.

The market in the Emirates closes on Oct. 2, leaving plenty of time for the two sides to work out a deal. 

Bordeax walked away from Henry negotiations for financial reasons


Bordeax have revealed that the club walked away from negotiations with Theirry Henry for "financial reasons".

The French legend was linked with the Ligue 1 club's managerial position, but talks broke down before the start of the club season.

Agent Raiola promises Pogba Real Madrid or Barcelona move


Paul Pogba's agent has promised the Manchester United midfielder a move to either Real Madrid or Barcelona, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Mino Raiola in 2016 that he should move to England for "three years and then Spain".

Pogba has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford as reports continue to detail a difficult relationship with Jose Mourinho. 

Crystal Palace part ways with chief scout


Crystal Palace have parted ways with chief scout Tom Coe, according to London News Online.

Coe had been with Palace four five-and-a-half years as the Eagles broke their transfer record several times during his time with the club.

The biggest moves of Coe's tenure were the signing of Dwight Gayle from Peterborough for a fee of around £6million and Christian Benteke for £27m.

Milan interested in Arsenal's Ramsey


AC Milan are preparing to make a bid for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, according to the Sun

The Wales international has seen speculation grow over his future as his contract nears its end.

And with Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis reportedly close to San Siro, the way could be further smoothed for Ramsey to move to Serie A.

'Dybala has offers to leave Juventus'


Paulo Dybala will leave Juventus in January and already has offers from clubs in Spain and England, Palermo owner Maurizio Zamparini has claimed.

The forward started his side's Serie A opener against Chievo last month, but did not play in the 2-0 win over Lazio and only managed 10 minutes off the bench in the 2-1 victory against Parma prior to the international break.

The 37-year-old defender was believed to be close to a deal with the Russian side worth around £3 million per year. 

But Terry has revealed in a statement that he has rejected the chance to join Spartak.

Real Madrid to return for Neymar in the summer


The Brazilian star has been heavily linked with a return to La Liga

Real Madrid will return for PSG star Neymar next summer, according to Le10Sport

The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Blancos, and the club has made contact with his father to explore a transfer in the summer of 2019. 

A deal is by no means a certainty, however, with Madrid still required to find an agreement with both Neymar and PSG.

Selnaes: Fulham have been tracking me for a while


Saint-Etienne midfielder Ole Selnaes has said that Fulham have been tracking his progress for a while.

The 24-year-old Norway international said that while the Cottagers are following him, an offer has yet to arrive. 

“That club has been following me for a while, even if nobody came to speak to me directly. I didn’t receive an offer," Selnaes told But! Football Club. "My work is here, I’m focused on Saint-Etienne."


Gazidis close to Milan move


Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis is close to joining AC Milan, reports Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Gunners chief is being lined up by Milan's new ownership to help the club better cope with UEFA's Financial Fair Play regulations.

The report states the two sides are nearing an agreement, with Gazidis set for a huge financial windfall. 

Sunderland sack ex-Chelsea defender


Sunderland have confirmed they have sacked Papy Djilobodji following his return to the club. He "comprehensively" failed a fitness test.

Signed for £8 million in 2016, the Senegal international now finds himself a free agent.

Valencia to pay off PSG for Guedes over six years


Valencia's €40m (£36m/$46m) deal to sign Goncalo Guedes from Paris Saint-Germain will take them six years to pay off, according to L'Equipe.

While it is not unusual for transfers to be broken into chunks, the length of this deal is exceptional. 

However, they could pay a further €15m in bonuses should he prove a success.

Dielna interested in La Liga move


New England Revolution defender Claude Dielna is keen on a move to Real Betis, according to Foot Mercato.

The Frenchman has previously turned out for the likes of Olympiacos and Ajaccio, and is eager to make a return to Europe.

Mario Balotelli's summer transfer saga has taken its toll on his body, with the Italian currently well overweight.

Speaking to L'Equipe, at source at the club said: "He was there without really being there and he knew he was suspended for the first three matches of the season. He really wasn't in good shape."

Indeed, it is claimed he returned weighing 100kg - 12kg more than at the end of last season. Much of it has been shed, but there remains work to be done.

Boateng reveals reason for turning down Man Utd


Defender wasn't sure of leaving Bayern Munich

Jerome Boateng has confirmed reports that both Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain were interested in him this summer while revealing that Jose Mourinho was unable to convince him to leave Bayern Munich.

"I called Jose Mourinho, I told him that his interest was an honor for me and thanked him for trying so hard for me," Boateng said.

"I explained to Jose that it’s difficult to leave Bayern, and if I do, everything has to be in place to top this club."

The 30-year-old French defender has fallen out of favor over the last month with the Revs and would like a return to Europe. 

Modric wants to join Inter in January


The Croatian was denied a Serie A move despite interest in the summer

Inter's pursuit of Luka Modric appears set to resume in January, according to Sport Mediaset.

The Croatian star is interested in reopening discussions at the start of the winter window after Real Madrid president Fiorentino Perez refused a sale over the summer.

Modric is said to be intrigued by the opportunity of challenging Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus should a move to Serie A go through.

Arsenal's Lichsteiner dismisses retirement rumours


Stefan Lichsteiner has denied reports of retirement while vowing to challenge Hector Bellerin for a starting spot.

The former Juventus defender moved to Arsenal this summer on a one-year deal, but has found matches hard to come by since jumping to the Premier League.

"For me, stepping down has never been up for debate, if I have to admit that I cannot keep the level of the last few years, then it is time," Lichsteiner said, according to Sportal.

"'But then I will not only resign from the Swiss national team, but finish my career. Based purely on performance data I have the physicality of a 28-year-old."

Juventus still interested in shock moves for Pogba and Marcelo


Juventus remain confident that the club can pull off deals for both Paul Pogba and Marcelo, according to Tuttosport.

Even after signing Cristiano Ronaldo, the Italian club believes a move for the Manchester United midfielder could be in the cards thanks to the Portuguese star's presence, his connection with the players still in the squad and his agent Mino Raiola's relationship with the club.

Club executives also remain intrigued by the possibility of reuniting Ronaldo and Marcelo in Italy after previously registering interest over the summer. 

Milinkovic-Savic to sign new deal with Lazio


Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is set to be rewarded with a new deal from Lazio that could be finalised by the end of the month, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Serbian had been the subject of transfer rumours all summer, but Lazio were able to hold on to the highly regarded midfielder following the World Cup.

Now, the club is expected to tie the midfielder down long term with a deal running through 2023. 

Quioto looking to leave MLS for European move


Houston Dynamo forward Romell Quioto says he is eyeing a European move as soon as this winter.

Currently with Honduras for the international break, Quioto says a move to Spain would be particularly interesting, but the 27-year-old forward is looking to make a move in the near future.

“I still have not been told anything, I'm happy with the team, I'm fine there, but you want better things, to be able to play in Europe, but I have to see if I get it,” he said, according to Diez.
