Sofapaka head coach Melis Medo says the new players at the club are hungry to show what they can offer the team.

Batoto ba Mungu are in the process of restructuring to increase the competitive edge for next season under the American coach. The ex-Nakumatt tactician has been quoted by the club's official portal thanking the team for allowing him to have a hand in transfers as the new season approaches.

“They are very talented players, hungry to represent the team, hungry to work and hungry to play for me. I am happy to have them and I am grateful to the management for letting me have the final word on the transfers. I look forward to working with them.”

Among those that have been signed by the club are goalkeeper Robert Aimo (Chemelil), Titus Achesa (Posta Rangers) and Cliff Kasuti (Ulinzi Stars).

However, the team is still active in the transfer market as confirmed by President Elly Kalekwa.
