Simba are set to sit down with Shiza Kichuya to discuss a new long term deal after an impressive season for both player and club.
Kichuya is a free agent after running his deal at the club and there has been speculation about his future making rounds in the media.
Reports suggest that Kichuya is among the players wanted by Azam but also others claim that the attacking midfielder has been approached by clubs from Algeria and DR Congo.
However, it will remains to be seen where Kichuya will play next season as his future remains uncertain.
Simba’s hierarchy don’t want to lose Kichuya for nothing and are ready to sit down with his representative in order to lure him to sign another deal.
Source close to the club revealed to Goal that money is not an issue at all if you consider Simba are currently under Tanzania’s billionaire, Mohamed Dewji who is responsible for all issues regarding transfer and wage bills.
Kichuya who signed for Simba from Mtibwa Sugar two season ago has emerged as one among the club's best performers since his move.
He went on to help Simba finish second behind Yanga in the Premier League last season as they also won the FA Cup.
This season Kichuya was the driving force behind Simba winning the Premier League Title scoring seven goals and assisting and impressive ten goals.
