Melbourne Victory superstar Keisuke Honda is expected to have a significant impact on the pitch when he makes his debut in the A-League next month.
But the 32-year-old is also making quite an impression off the field with his Melbourne teammates.
During a bonding session at the team's pre season training camp on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Honda stood in front of his peers and belted out the words to 'Kimigayo' - the Japanese national anthem.
The now retired Japanese international put his hand over his heart as he passionately sang the anthem - much to the amusement of the Victory squad.
Goal doesn't feel Honda's next stage in his career is going to be as a musical performer, but we are mighty excited about his potential impact on the A-League this season.
