Katsina United’s coach, Abdullahi Biffo has admitted that they face a tough task getting a result from their game with Enugu Rangers with their hosts in search of their first home win of the Nigeria Professional Football League season.
The Chanji Boys defeated Enyimba 2-0 over the weekend and Biffo has expressed that the Flying Antelopes are a difficult team to play now judging by their result against Heartland in Owerri last Sunday but that he has told his players that they must remain tactically disciplined throughout the encounter if they are to get a positive result in Enugu.
“We are the underdogs against Rangers based on pedigree but we fear no foe at all,” Biffo told Goal.
“Rangers are in search of their first home win having lost their previous two games but they surprised Heartland in Owerri to record their first victory of the season. They will be coming all out to win in front of their fans.
“My players are aware of what is at stake and I have told them that they must ensure they do not allow Rangers to play their normal game. We must also be disciplined in all departments too.”
Biffo says they are in Enugu to secure the two points they lost at home to Kano Pillars and that they won’t be daunted in their target despite the odds against them.
“We were fortunate to pick a draw in the game with Kano Pillars. It was our first game of the season and it would have dampened our morale. We are in Enugu to lay claim to those lost points.
“The league season is still very early and it is our resolve to get the needed points as soon as possible,” he concluded.
The Chanji Boys have four points from three games.
