Western Stima failed to collect maximum points against Vihiga United, who forced a one all draw

Tusker FC recorded their second defeat in as many games after falling 1-0 away against Nzoia Sugar on Saturday.

The brewers had suffered a 1-0 defeat to the defending champions Gor Mahia on Wednesday and they needed maximum points against a relatively easier side in Nzoia.

However, that was not going to happen as the eleven-time league champions fell by a solitary strike scored by Hansel Ochieng, three minutes to the break. Meanwhile, Erick Kapaito returned into the score sheet for Kariobangi Sharks as they won 2-0 against visitors Chemelil Sugar.

After a barren first half, Vincent Wasambo put the FKF Shield Cup winners ahead with a 62nd minute strike before the 2018 MVP doubled the lead moments later to help the team get maximum points.

The match of the day was between Mount Kenya United against Kakamega Homeboyz where the latter won 6-0 to avenge the 6-1 loss suffered in the reverse fixture last year.
