Kenya U-20 team is set to play Tanzania in a friendly as part of their preparation for the upcoming Total Africa Cup of Nations (African Youth Championships).

The team is set to report to camp on February 5, 2018, with a friendly match against Tanzania on the cards.

Kenya will also take part in a four-nation tournament scheduled for Egypt in March.

“We have a policy that will ensure the Junior teams actively participate in the upcoming Caf and Fifa competitions,” FKF CEO Robert Muthomi was quoted by the federation portal.

“These friendlies will provide an opportunity for our junior players to not only experience international matches but also learn vital aspects of the game that are key to their future football development.”

Early last year, the team took part in two build-up matches against Senegal in Dakar, losing both matches to the West African country.
