The Japanese has been confirmed for a second stint in Ghana

Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies have named former Hearts of Oak boss Kenichi Yatsuhashi as new coach of the club.

The Japanese returns to Ghana 17 months after parting ways with the Phobians.

"As promised, the Management of Inter Allies FC have reached agreement with Kenichi Yatsuhasi to be the new Head Coach of the Club and its youth development side – Cedar Stars Academy, Ghana," Allies announced via their official website on Thursday.

"The new coach will arrive in time for the Club’s pre-season ahead of the 2017/18 campaign."

After his Hearts tenure, Kenichi had a brief spell with Nigerian side Ifeanyi Ubah in 2016.

The 47-year-old also had stints with Qatar-based Aspire Academy, Suzuyo Shimizu - a Japanese professional women team - as well as Borough of Manhattan Community College in the USA.

Allies narrowly avoided relegation in the Ghana Premier League last season as they finished only one place above the danger zone.
