Hearts of Oak coaches never afraid of being sacked, says Odoom

Hearts of Oak assistant coach Edward Odoom has insisted that the technical team are not bothered with calls from a section of the fans to get them sacked.

The Phobians failed to win against Medeama in the first round last game, leaving them 12th on the log and ten points behind leaders Medeama.

"As coaches, we aren't the first to be sacked. Coaches have been appointed and sacked in Europe and everywhere so if they say we should leave our posts, not a big deal," Odoom told Otec FM.

"There are too many injuries in the team. If you look at Hearts now, we have had six players on injury list [including Razak, Inusah and Obeng] but we're trying to manage the situation.

"We registered 26 players and one absent can affect us. Even when Liverpool were playing against Real Madrid and one of their players got injured, the whole team was down and lost so it can happen to Hearts," he added.

Hearts have one outstanding game against Aduana Stars scheduled for June 24.
