Felda United’s skipper, Shukor Adan revealed that the team has adapted and improved ever since the arrival of new coach B. Sathianathan.

Sathianathan took charge of the team last month after Azmi Mohamed stepped down and since then, Felda United are yet to lose any domestic matches.

“The arrival of Sathianathan as a coach really played an important role to the team. We are yet to lose under him, so I think the players can accept his instruction really well.”

“I believe the team really need his experience in local football in order for us to go through the whole season,” said Shukor in the pre-match press conference on Monday afternoon.

Speaking about the upcoming game against Hanoi FC, Shukor has urged his team to bounce back after their defeat to Tampines Rovers.

Shukor admitted that the team was nervous during the game against Tampines Rovers due to their lack of experience.

“First game, some of us don’t have the experience playing in the AFC Cup, so we were nervous. We did or best but we were unlucky so I hope we can give our best in the upcoming game against Hanoi FC,” added Shukor.

Felda United welcome Hanoi FC at Shah Alam stadium tomorrow evening for their 2nd game in the AFC Cup.
