Gor Mahia striker Meddie Kagere tables own terms for Yanga

Meddie Kagere is willing to leave Gor Mahia for Yanga if the record Tanzanian champions parts with Sh8 million.

The Rwandan striker’s contract with Gor Mahia is set to expire at the end of the season though there has been increased interest from the free-scoring attacker.

Kagere has been on the radar of Yanga who were impressed by his game during the just concluded Super Cup. Kagere scored in each of the three games to finish as the tournament’s top scorer with four goals.

The former KF Tirana striker is said to have tabled Sh8 million demand in signing fee in addition to Sh300,000 monthly salary for his services.

“He (Kagere) wants Tsh180 million (about Sh8 million). He also wants a monthly pay of Tsh7,000,00 (about Sh311,000). If that is guaranteed. The deal will be done,”Tanzanian publication, Bingwa said.

Kagere is also being scouted by Simba who have also shown interest in his signature.
