Premier League returnees Fulham are in line to sign Ghana striker Jordan Ayew after opening talks with Swansea City to bring the Ghanaian to Craven Cottage next season, according to Sky Sports.
Following Fulham's 1-0 win in the Championship play-off final over Aston Villa last month, manager Slavisa Jokanovic is already in the market for reinforcement, making Ayew his first major target, but a reported £8 million has to be tabled to land the Swans' topscorer of last season.
The 26-year-old scored 11 goals in all competitions but his efforts weren't enough to save his side from the drop.
Aside Ayew, Fulham have also initiated plans to make striker Aleksandar Mitrovic's loan from Newcastle United a permanent move while other players are being monitored.
Goal understands that Ayew's elder brother Andre, who rejoined Swansea in a record transfer from West Ham United in January, is also likely to leave the Welsh side who are planning to cut down bills as they will be playing in the Championship next season.
