Franck Kessie ruled out of AC Milan's Europa League game

AC Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso has dropped utility midfielder Franck Kessie for Thursday’s Uefa Europa League fixture against Dudelange.

The Ivorian midfielder was in impressive form for the Rossoneri on Sunday and helped them secure a 1-1 draw against Lazio with his 78th-minute deflected shot that was credited as Wallace’s own goal.

The 21-year-old who has featured in every of his side’s league game this season is reportedly not fully fit as they chase vital points to keep their hopes of qualification to the knockout round.

 Kessie has played two games for AC Milan and was an unused substitute in their 3-1 win over Olympiacos back in October.

The Serie A club, leveled on points with Olympiacos, are second in Group F with seven points from four games - a point behind leaders Real Betis.
