Didier Deschamps' men were beaten 2-1 by Sweden after a Hugo Lloris error gifted Ola Toivonen a last-minute winner at Friends Arena in Stockholm.
That has thrown a spanner into France's qualification campaign but England avoided a similar upset - with Joe Hart also guilty of some questionable goalkeeping - thanks to Harry Kane's late equaliser against Scotland.
After unimpressive results at the weekend, both countries could ring the changes and give some of their younger players a chance to impress.

BETTING & GAME ODDS
France are 19/20 favourites to win in Paris, according to Oddschecker , with England priced at 17/5 and the draw available at 13/5.
Antoine Griezmann is the 9/2 favourite to score first, followed by Olivier Giroud at 5/1. Harry Kane is the top choice for the visitors at 13/2.
Sadly, this is the second meeting on the football pitch between England and France of recent years that will be marked by tragedy.
The clash between the two countries at Wembley in November of 2015 followed a series of terrorist attacks in Paris days earlier that killed 130 people and injured hundreds more.
Wembley paid a rousing tribute to those lost that night, with both sets of fans uniting in a goosebump-inducing rendition of the French national anthem La Marseillaise.
On Tuesday, in the wake of the similar attacks on Manchester and London that killed 31 people in total, Paris will extend a hand to its neighbour across the Channel in return.
Prime Minister Theresa May is expected to be in attendance alongside President Emmanuel Macron at the Stade de France, with a number of tributes planned and a minute's silence set to be held before kick-off.
It will be hoped that the football can provide some welcome relief.
