Five injured players are set to return for Yanga ahead of their CAF Champions League clash with Township Rollers

Five injured players are set to return for Yanga ahead of their CAF Champions League clash with Township Rollers on Tuesday. 

Thaban Kamusoko, Obrey Chirwa, Juma Mahadhi, Yohana Nkomola and Abdallah Shaibu “Ninja” who were sidelined because of injuries returned in the training with the first team this week and it is reportedly that they will be available for selection.

Yanga will welcome the Botswana’s Premier League leaders in the big tie which the winner will be guaranteed a place in the group stage.

Speaking in the press conference ahead of the game, General Secretary, Boniface Mkwasa was full of praise for their opponents suggesting that the game will be even tougher for both sides. 

“Rollers is a good team, they are in good form leading their Premier League, we have to fight and be in our best in order to win these two ties,” said Mkwasa.

The Rollers knocked out El Merrekh in the preliminary round while Yanga edged past St Louis of Seychelles.
