FC IfeanyiUbah ready for Oriental derby vs. Enyimba

FC IfeanyiUbah coach, Yaw Preko has stated his side's readiness to face Enyimba in another Oriental derby on Sunday.

The former Ghanaian international says he has informed his players the importance of the match and expects them to come all out against the People’s Elephants as they go in search of the points that could take them closer to the top three.

"I have heard so much about the oriental derbies and I know this one won’t be any easier. I have told my players the importance of the match and we have all resolved to play with everything we have got noting that the maximum points will be ideal for our ambition to return to the continent,” Preko told Goal.

“We are ready for the game with Enyimba and I will say we do not have issues with injuries besides the duo of Kojo Ba’ah and Valentine Nwabili who are recovering from injuries.

"They are definitely out of the tie with Enyimba but we have players that can get us the three points against our foes. The point we earned in Shagamu was justified and I can’t blame my players for the goal we conceded immediately after we took the lead against Remo Stars.

“They (Remo Stars) scored through a fine free kick and I can’t call that a tactical error. We must think about the game with Enyimba knowing that a win could take us further up the league table."

The Nnewi based side are sixth on the league table with 42 points from 28 matches.
