Nigeria President, Muhammadu Buhari hosted the Super Eagles at the Presidential Villa on Wednesday ahead of their participation at the 2018 Fifa World Cup.

The country will be making her sixth appearance at the global stage this year and President Buhari has charged Gernot Rohr's men to bring the World Cup trophy home.

In attendance were Vice-president, Professor Yomi Osinbajo, Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung and NFF President, Amaju Pinnick.

The three-time African champions travelled to London on Wednesday in readiness for their pre-World Cup friendly against England at Wembley on Saturday.

The Super Eagles will later depart for their final training camp in Austria where they will play against Czech Republic on June 6.

Nigeria begin their 2018 Fifa World Cup campaign against Croatia at the Kaliningrad Stadium on June 16 before taking on Iceland on June 22. They will round up their Group B games with a fixture against Argentina at the Saint-Petersburg Stadium on June 26.
