A win for the league leaders will see them open a five-point lead at the summit

Kenyan Premier League defending champions Gor Mahia will return to the domestic competition with a midweek clash against Wazito.

K’Ogalo, who successfully defended the Super Cup title on Sunday, will return to Kisumu, the very place they picked their last league victory when they entertain the league debutantes on Wednesday.

Coach Dylan Kerr, still unbeaten in the league, has urged his players to approach the game like ‘a final’.

“We have to go into today’s game like it’s a game that we played on Sunday. The prize this time is three points and we have to keep the momentum."

This will be the third time Gor Mahia are playing at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu this campaign.

The last two visits produced identical 1-0 scorelines against Sony Sugar and Vihiga United respectively.
