‘Back with a bang’ – Fulham’s Sheyi Ojo excited to end goal drought on return from injury

Sheyi Ojo is delighted to net two goals on his return from a shoulder dislocation as Fulham defeated Sheffield United 5-4 in Tuesday’s thrilling English Championship outing.

The winger picked up the injury in the Cottagers’ 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers on September 29 which has ensured that he was sidelined for seven weeks.

Prior to his dislocation, the midfielder has gone seven games without finding the net but the Liverpool loanee returned stronger with two goals and assist to help Slavisa Jokanovic’s men overpower the Blades.

Ojo’s brace with a hat-trick from Ryan Sessegnon who is marking his 50th appearance for the Craven Cottage outfit helped them to their fifth win in the English second tier league this term.

Impressed with his remarkable return to the field of play, the Anglo-Nigerian took to social media to express his delight while thanking the fans who have supported him during his rehabilitation.

“Mad game! Back with a bang, two goals and an assist. Thanks to the fans for the support during my injury rehab” Ojo tweeted.

The youngster will look to build on this form when Fulham welcome Millwall to Craven Cottage on Saturday for their next league encounter.
