Jordan Ayew is hoping Swansea 'start getting things right' on their home turf, starting with a win against Huddersfield on Saturday.

Paul Clement’s side head into the eighth English Premier League matchday having lost all three games played at the Liberty stadium, and are placed 17th in the standings.

However, the 26-year-old believes the Swans - who have never lost four opening home games in the league - can deliver positive performances in front of their fans.

“I’m confident that things are going to be okay,” Ayew told club website.

“The most important thing now is that we start getting points because we can’t afford to waste any more time.

“It’s been a difficult start but it’s important that we start getting things right, especially at home this weekend.

On their disappointing start to the 2017-18 season, the Ghana international is positive they can turn it around.

“I’m positive that this season will get better not just for me personally but for the whole club," he said

“Maybe it’s a good thing that mistakes are happening now so that we can correct them quickly and do better.

“That’s what we’re trying to do now and we are confident that we can get the three points on Saturday," he concluded.
