According to Mabena's agent Francesco Ferreri, at least four to five PSL teams have already shown interest in the player, although he wasn't prepared to disclose their names.
However, he revealed that there is nothing concrete on the table as yet, and that the striker is focused on helping his current employers improve their position on the log.
"Mabena's contract is expiring at the end of the season, but he's focused on helping Platinum Stars," Ferreri told Isolezwe.
"There's nothing concrete except that there are four to five teams that want Mabena," he said.
Kaizer Chiefs, Cape Town City, SuperSport United and Maritzburg United have reportedly been monitoring the player's progress at Dikwena, and could battle for the signature of the 29-year-old former Orlando Pirates frontman ahead of next season.
Mabena has featured 21 times in all official competitions for Cavin Johnson's team so far this season, and netted just once. He has seven assists to his name this term.
