AFC Leopards head coach Nikola Kavazovic has confirmed the junior team will have a big role to play in the 2018/19 season.

Of late, the Ingwe Cubs have been overlooked despite producing some good plyers like Vincent Oburu and Marcellus Ingotsi. Kavazovic is impressed with what he has seen in training and revealed the club will add more players in the current transfer period.

“The training is okay, players are doing their bit and it is impressive and very competitive at the same time. With the kind of spirit and attitude seen in training there is a chance of positive results in every match we will play next season and that is what we want.

“Discipline is key; we are not yet sure whether we will have Odera (Ezekiel) with us or not, it is subject to discussion before decision is made. We will also train with the junior team occasionally and those players who impresses will be given a chance with the senior side.”

AFC Leopards played Wazito on Wednesday in a pre-season friendly match and settled to a one all draw.
