AFC Leopards captain Duncan Otieno has joined Zambian Premier League side Nkana FC.
Otieno, who Captained Ingwe to a seventh-place finish in the Kenyan Premier League last season and FKF Shield Cup semi-final, joined Nkana on a two-year deal.
The Zambian side confirmed the capture of the 24-year old Harambee Stars defender on Saturday. “Nkana FC has signed Kenyan International Midfielder Duncan Otieno on a two-year contract,” the club said in a statement posted on their Facebook page.
Nkana Chief Executive Officer, Charles Chakatazya confirmed the development and said this was in an effort to beef up the squad in readiness for the 2019 Caf Champions League, which kicks off in November 2018.
Otieno became the second Kenyan after former Gor Mahia captain Musa Mohammed, to have signed for Nkana FC.
