The 29-year-old returns to Nana Agyemang Badu Park just a year after leaving Aduana and is expected to play a major role in Yusif Abubakar's set-up in the 2017-18 season.
We are happy to announce the signing of Yahaya Mohammed back into the #OGYA fraternity. He has today penned down a 2 year deal with Aduana Stars FC after spending a season with Azam Fc of Tanzania. Together we made it. ADUANA! OGYA!! 🔥🔥🔥 #ghpl #JoySMS #CitiNews pic.twitter.com/rw1jDR2SWT— #2016/17LeagueChamps (@AduanaStarsFc) December 23, 2017
The 'Terminator' mutually cancelled his contract with Azam after falling out with the club's supporters and technical team on disciplinary grounds. However, he feels battle ready with Aduana and calls Dormaa Ahenkro a home.
"It feels good to be back to where you belong. I thank everyone at the club for the opportunity given to me once again," Yahaya said.
"I'm ready to give out my best to help Aduana achieve the target set for 2018. I've been here before and although some things have changed, there are several old faces to make you feel at home.
"I'm aware that we'll participate in the Caf Champions League and also try to retain the league title so I have to motivate myself and get as many goals I can," he added.
Yahaya, who scored 13 goals in his last season with Aduana, will have to battle Derrick Sasraku and Nathaniel Asamoah for a starting role next season.
He has become the fourth major signing by the club ahead of the upcoming campaign, after Justice Annan, Hafiz Adams and Caleb Amankwaa.
